Thanks to generous individuals donating funds to provide girls with access to Guiding experiences, the ‘We’ve Got You Girl’ financial grant is once again available in 2023.
Applications for Term 1, 2023 open on Thursday 26 January 2023 and close on Friday 10 February 2023. Applications will be processed, and the caregiver applying will be informed as soon as a decision is made.
If you are aware of any girls leaving GirlGuiding NZ due to their family not being able to afford the $90 term fee for Classic Guiding or $8.75 per month for Explore, please refer them to the criteria and online application form here. This fund is also open for tamawāhine of volunteers.
Applicants that received the grant in Term 4, 2022 will be contacted individually via email and asked if they need to continue with the grant in Term 1, 2023. If so, they will not need to fill in another for. However, they do need to respond to the email.
I will be actively promoting the Sponsor a Girl Campaign to raise donations from individuals so that we can accept everyone that meets the criteria for We’ve Got You Girl. Remember, GirlGuiding NZ is a registered charity, therefore all donations over $5.00 are tax deductible.
