Online Auction 2022

Following the success of our ‘Ready, set, bid!’ online auction last year, it will be back new and refreshed for 2022. We’ll share more closer to the ‘go live’ date at the end of May….so you can get your bidding fingers ready!

For now, we’re in the process of securing prizes and would LOVE your help. We want to include something for everyone to bid on…. treats, experiences, unique items for individuals, couples, and families. So, if you have any suggestions for great prizes, or links to family, friends and contacts that could donate something, please get in touch.
If it’s been donated, then all proceeds will benefit GirlGuiding New Zealand. The auction last year raised around $12,000, and we’d like to beat that in 2022. Money-can’t-buy and behind the scenes experiences did particularly well, and we’ll be promoting prizes and donors during the auction period to inspire bids.

One of our top fundraising prizes, raising $855, was the working dog demonstration and kennel tour at Auckland Airport, donated by the Auckland MPI Detector Dog Team. The family who placed the winning bid, said: “The team there were incredible, and we loved every moment of it. They went out of their way to make sure it was a very special visit and we felt so lucky to be able to visit the kennels and training centre… it was one of the best things I have ever bought as a fundraiser.”
