Farewell Emily & Karen

As some of you are aware, we are sadly saying goodbye to two more Guiding team members. Emily Harrop-Smith (Learning & Development Manager) and Karen Cox (Programme Developer) have both given notice from their roles and will be leaving us over the next couple of weeks.

Emily is taking her awesome and amazing self to VOYCE Whakarongo Mai (an NGO which advocates for children and young people in state and foster care) where she will be employed as Learning and Development Lead. Emily has been a rock for her team; caring and supportive she brings out the best in everyone. Emily’s last day of employment with Guiding will be 1^st May.

Karen leaves us slightly earlier – her last day of employment will be 27^th April (next Thursday). Karen’s quick wit, humour and creativity will be sorely missed, and the insight that made her a valuable contributor to the ‘Rainbow Connection’ diversity group will be hard to replace. Karen will be taking a well-deserved break before deciding on her next move.
