Olave Baden Powell Society Update

The Olave Baden Powell Society supports the work of WAGGGS by helping raise funds for the global body.  It has a membership programme that allows individuals to connect with and support the work of WAGGGS.

A new category of Associate Membership was launched on 1st November 2021 to give more people around the world the opportunity to invest in girls and young women and the Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement that sustains them.

Associate Membership requires a minimum gift to WAGGGS of £300 a year. This can be made through regular monthly, quarterly or half yearly payments or through an annual donation. Donors whose gifts add up to £300 or more in a twelve-month period are eligible to be recognised as OB-PS Associate Members.  To find out more:

This is an exciting time for OBPS as we are hoping that be adding this new membership category that it will enable more people to participate in supporting WAGGGS.

All donations to the Olave Baden-Powell Society go directly to WAGGGS.  We support them to achieve their vision and mission, ensuring girls and your women are valued and take action to change the world, and achieved their fullest potential as responsible citizens.

OBPS work closely with all member countries to help them stay in close touch with the world of Guiding and Scouting, and provide a deep sense of inclusion and engagement with the projects, programmes and events which their kind support has made possible.

If anyone is interested in becoming a member of the Olave Baden Powell Society and the Associate membership category has sparked your interest, please contact me on [email protected] to discuss further.
