The Resignation of Jess Gilmour From The role of Audit and Finance Committee Chair

We are sorry to announce the resignation of Jess Gilmour from her volunteer role on the Board and the chair of the Audit and Finance committee which she has held for the past four years. 

 Jess joined Guiding as a Brownie and as an adult has contributed immensely to the organisation in a range of volunteer roles, including Local Coordinator, Guide Leader, Ranger Leader, Assessor, Mentor and various roles on regional teams. Jess has also been a leader at several Jamborees and events in Aotearoa and internationally. Guiding has benefited hugely from Jess’s contribution over the years and Jess will remain involved in Guiding in a volunteer capacity.

Ngā mihi nui to Jess for her many years of service and the impact she’s had on so many girls’ Guiding experiences. We wish her all the best as she moves on from her Guiding governance roles.
