Thank you to everyone who came along to the launch hui’s for Te Ao Māori badge. It was great to see so many of you engaging in discussion and excited about the badge. For those of you who were unable to attend a session, or who would like a recap, you can watch a recording here. The full badge pack is on OGM under Programme Resources > All. We will also save a copy of the hui recording there as well.
A massive thank you, once again, to your passionate and dedicated rōpū of volunteers and staff who did a huge amount of mahi to bring us the badge; Hayley Buchanan, Hayley Wards, Teresa Gargiulo, Vicki Frewin and Gemma Rangihuna O’Loughlin.
As you may have seen in our NOP the launch of Te Ao Māori is the first of many steps designed to further honour and interweave Te Tiriti principals into our way of being, across the organisation. I am excited to hear about how the badge is enjoyed in units from next term. If you have any questions or comments about the badge, please feel free to reach out to me directly [email protected]
