Work history:

I began my working career in the San Francisco Bay area working in the tech area as a Product Marketing Manager. My kiwi born husband and I moved around a bit in the 90’s finally settling in New Zealand where I worked in the video games then telecommunications industries. We then moved to Northern Auckland when our children were young and I did a variety of jobs including working for the local Surf Lifesaving club which was a fantastic place to spend our time as a family. From here I moved into the Health and Safety /People and Culture area for a Civil Construction company and was there for over 10 years. After covid it was time for a change and after a few different jobs I was looking to get into a place I could feel I was making a difference and Girl Guides was an obvious choice.

Additional info:

I have two adult daughters who live in Auckland and we still love as a family visiting our local beach down the road or hiking at beautiful Tāwharanui Regional park. An avid reader, I always have at least one book on the go and have recently taken up Ocean swimming in the warmer months and am loving it.
