PerformHers is a five day camp with a focus on you guessed it, Music! Part of this camp will include a visit to a radio station and a recording studio, and potentially with the opportunity to see someone record a song. We will also have a day where you will get the chance to have some lessons on various instruments as well as singing (don’t worry – if you’re not a singer you don’t have to do it!) In addition to action-packed itineraries, girls will also have the chance to meet new friends, develop their social and leadership skills and create memories to last a lifetime.
Fee: $495 total which consists of a non-refundable $150 deposit due within 7 days of event acceptance and the remaining $345 is due by 26 March 2021
Location: Taitamariki Guide Centre – 8 Auburn Street, Takapuna, Auckland
Date and times: 21 – 25 April 2021 (drop off at 1pm on April 21 and pickup at 11am on April 25)

– When does the fee need to be paid by? The $150 deposit is due within seven days of event acceptance and the remaining $345 is due by 26 March 2021
– What happens if I don’t pay the full fee by 26 March 2021? Your child will be withdrawn from this event and her place will be given to a girl on the waitlist
– Is travel to and from the venue arranged for me? No, all travel to and from the venue is to be arranged by parents/caregivers. You will need to ensure you arrange to drop-off and pick-up your child yourself as this isn’t something that GirlGuiding NZ organise as a part of this event. If your child is flying in from out of Auckland we can arrange a leader to do airport transfers. Please do not book any flights without contacting the events team at National Office as we will need to ensure arrival and departure times are inline with other girls flying in to ensure leaders only need to make one trip
– What does the fee cover? This fee covers all associated activity costs, accommodation, any travel to activities and all meals
