Outdoor AdventurHers is a five-day outdoor adventure Discovery! You will be camping at the school grounds and engaging in exciting and fun-filled activities for the week. We have also partnered up with CastleRock Adventures to provide two full on days of Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Raft Building and Kayaking. This is going to be an action packed week and is a fantastic opportunity for girls to try new activities and make new life-long friends from around the country.
Fee: $495 total which consists of a non-refundable $150 deposit due within 7 days of event acceptance and the remaining $345 is due by 23 November 2020.
Location: Wharepapa South School, 14 Wharepapa South Road
Date and times: 11 – 15 January 2021 (drop off at 3pm on 11 January and pick up at 10.30am on 15 January)
Invites will go out through OGM and we recommend accepting these invites as soon as possible as places do fill up incredibly quickly. If you haven’t received an invite and would like one please email [email protected]

🏕 What happens if I don’t pay the full fee by 23 November 2020? Your child will be withdrawn from this event and her place will be given to a girl on the waitlist
🏕 Is travel to and from the venue arranged for me? No, all travel to and from the venue is to be arranged by parents/caregivers. You will need to ensure you arrange to drop-off and pick-up your child yourself as this isn’t something that GirlGuiding NZ organise as a part of this event. If your child needs to fly in to Hamilton Airport we can arrange a leader to do airport transfers if required. Please ensure you liaise with the events team at National Office around this before booking any flights as there will be specific timelines to adhere to for flight arrivals and departures.
🏕 What does the fee cover? This fee covers all associated activity costs, accommodation, any travel to activities and all meals. This does not cover any travel related costs to and from the school on the first and last day
