Cost: $150.00 per girl. Travel costs to and from the retreat are additional and are at your own expense. Any airport shuttle transfers booked by GirlGuiding New Zealand will also be invoiced to you.
Rangers who have achieved their Peak Award and who are aged 15 1/2 years at the time of the retreat are invited to apply for the upcoming Queen’s Guide Retreat. Participants take part in a variety of challenging and fun learning activities to extend their skills and knowledge in relation to team building, community action, self-evaluation, Queen’s Guide Award recognition and joining networks.
There are a maximum number of places for each Queen’s Guide Retreat. Once accepted you will be sent an invite through OGM to the event. Priority is usually given to the older Rangers and/or Rangers who live closer to the location. We will advise those not selected and place their name on a waiting list. Full-time attendance is a requirement.
