AWA2027 JAMBOREE UPDATE

We are very excited to share with you the designs for the official Jamboree event shirts for youth and adults. These will be part of the Jamboree kit for Guides, Rangers and Adults attending the full Jamboree.

Youth and adults attending for MiniJam or day visits only, won’t receive a shirt but can purchase one online. The shirts run small so we are finding most people need a shirt 1-2 sizes up from their GGNZ shirt. If you need to change your shirt size, please email us.

Don’t forget to keep the excitement building with the Pre-Jamboree Challenge! This is a fantastic opportunity for units to connect with the Jamboree spirit before arriving on site, while developing teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills along the way. Remember the pre-Jamboree challenge can be completed by all Guides and Rangers (whether they’re attending Jamboree or not) and adults. Everyone can get the badge too, they’re available to order now through OGM.

We will soon be releasing a module on Udutu for all adults attending Jamboree to complete prior to coming to Jamboree. Please keep an eye out for this.

Finally, a reminder that MiniJam registrations are still open. MiniJam is a great way for younger members to experience the fun, adventure, and community of a large-scale event, and we’d love to see as many tamariki involved as possible. If you know families or leaders who are still considering attending, now is a great time to encourage them to register and be part of what promises to be an unforgettable experience. Remember, non-members can also register for MiniJam.

We are loving seeing everyone share the excitement of Jamboree and can’t wait to see you in January. If you have any questions, please email the Awa2027 team.
