Announcement of Appointment: Programme Adviser – Jenni Brookes

My name is Jenni Brookes and I am excited about being the new Programme Adviser. I am passionate about Guiding and providing opportunities for girls. My experience in Guiding started when I was 6 years old, I visited a Brownie unit and was hooked. I moved on to Guides, Rangers and was a Young Leader. My leadership role started when I was 10 and helped at a Rainbow unit. At 16 I became a leader at Brownies, I have been a trainer, ran various camps and discovery events and more recently the Brownie programme co-ordinator.

I live in Central Auckland with my girls who are 6 (and a pippin) and 3 years old. Together we love the outdoors, going camping, biking and kayaking. In the winter we love watching ice hockey and going skiing.
