Massive congratulations to our wonderful Rangers who gathered at Government House in Wellington this month to celebrate earning their Queen’s Guide Award. The Vice-Regal Reception is something we look forward to every year, and Governor-General Dame Cindy Kiro gave an inspiring speech about the importance of empowering young women in times of volatility. Our Rangers travelled from all over the motu to attend, and they represented GirlGuiding NZ incredibly well. There was strong whānau support, including some families who had three generations of Guides present!
