Work History:
Originally from a visual arts background, I have enjoyed growing and venturing into different directions over the years. I have tried working with artists, archivists, and advocacy groups before eventually landing in the grant-making sector. While based in London, I worked as a Grants and Research Officer for a music charity that distributes grants across the country. This experience and also my work as a freelance grant application assessor led me to become a Funding and Impact Consultant here in Aotearoa. Over the past few years, I have worked with many different charities, helping them to measure and communicate their impact and implement funding strategies to achieve their community goals. One particular highlight was the successful funding application to establish the first curtain bank of Taranaki.
Additional Info:
Originally from southern Germany, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel a lot and to live in different countries, including the USA, England, and now New Zealand. New Plymouth has been my home since 2014 for my Kiwi husband and two sons. I love hiking or a good board game on a rainy day in my spare time, and I’m involved in two local disability charities.
