DESCRIPTION:Applications are now open for the Auckland Queen’s Guide Retreat – 2026 An Underwater Adventure\nDetails:\nVenue: Taitamariki\, 8 Auburn Street\, Takapuna\, Auckland \nDates: 2-3 May 2026 \nThe cut off date for registrations is: 11 April 2026 \nPayment due: 11 April 2026 \nCost: $150.00 per girl. Travel costs to and from the retreat are additional and are at your own expense. Any airport shuttle transfers booked by GirlGuiding New Zealand will also be invoiced to you. \n  \nCriteria:\nRangers who have achieved their Peak Award and who are aged 15 1/2 years at the time of the retreat are invited to apply for the upcoming Queen’s Guide Retreat. Participants take part in a variety of challenging and fun learning activities to extend their skills and knowledge in relation to team building\, community action\, self-evaluation\, Queen’s Guide Award recognition and joining networks. \n  \nHow To Apply:\nThere are a maximum number of places for each Queen’s Guide Retreat. Once accepted you will be sent an invite through OGM to the event. Priority is usually given to the older Rangers and/or Rangers who live closer to the location.
