“Technology is everywhere in our current world and we believe all Kiwi kids should have a chance to learn about and experience the amazing opportunities technology can provide us with.” – Brain Play
Are you ready to dive hands-first into the tech world? We’ve got you covered with an A-MAZING day of technology-based learning games & activities! We’ve partnered with Brain Play to offer girls in the community an exciting opportunity to learn about coding, robotics and 3D printing! This one-day event will fill you with energy and we guarantee you’ll leave feeling POWERed up and emPOWERed!
We’ll tackle a number of challenges throughout the day while working together on hand-on activities.
Have you ever dreamt about making your own cartoon or video game? We’ll learn how to build our own moving scenes and learn about sequencing, debugging and looping to create great productions.
A robot that obeys your commands? Where do we sign up! We’ll learn about the relationship between motors, sensors and electronics while building and coding a working robot!
Printing out your favourite picture is cool and all, but what is it like to design and print 3D objects! We’ll learn about the process of 3D printing, it’s benefits and how we can design literally ANYTHING and print it out immediately.
Are you up for the challenge?
