“Technology is everywhere in our current world and we believe all Kiwi kids should have a chance to learn about and experience the amazing opportunities technology can provide us with.” – Brain Play
Are you ready to dive hands-first into the tech world? We’ve got you covered with an A-MAZING day of technology-based learning games & activities for all skill levels!
We’ve partnered with Brain Play to offer girls in the community an exciting opportunity to learn all about 3D printing! And this time you get to print and take home your designs!*
This one-day event will fill you with energy and we guarantee you’ll leave feeling POWERed up and emPOWERed!
COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD) & 3D PRINTING
3D printing and computer-aided design (CAD) go hand in hand and Brain Play will be teaching them both in an exciting, hands-on session.
We’ll use CAD software that teaches us how to place, manoeuvre, manipulate and create original 3D printable models. Brain Play will then print our models on one of their Wanhao Duplicator i3 mini printers. We’ll be able to see this printer in action on the day!
We’ll embark on a variety of unique games and challenges to test and build our STEM skills, all while working as a team and building new friendships!
Are you up for the challenge?
*3D printed designs will be sent to each participant by mail following the event.
