DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to Outdoor AdventurHers Bay of Plenty! \nThis Discovery is an opportunity for Guides and Rangers to come together for a fantastic week of hiking\, archery\, climbing and bouldering and lessons on conservation among many other exciting activities. This will be an opportunity to make new friends\, challenge yourself and have an amazing time.  \nPlaces will fill up quickly\, so don’t hesitate to register today! \n\nDates: 18 – 22 April\, 2022\nTimes: Drop-off at 2pm on the 18th – please have lunch prior to drop-off. Pickup at 10am on the 22nd.\nLocation: Aongatete Education Centre – 834 Wright Road\, RD4\, Katikati\, Bay of Plenty\nFee: $500 – this must be paid in full by 18 March 2022 to secure your childs place on this event\n\nFAQs \n\nWhat does the fee cover? The fee covers all accommodation\, food and activity costs for the five days.\nIs travel to and from the venue arranged for me? No\, all travel to and from the venue prior to and at the end of the camp is to be arranged and paid for yourself. Once registrations close we can put parents in touch with one another to look at carpooling if required.\nWhat happens if I don’t pay the full fee by 18 March? You will be removed from the event and your place offered to someone on the waitlist.\nWill this go ahead in the Red setting? Yes\, under Red this will proceed. SUMMARY:Abel Tasman Tramping Discovery
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to announce our 2022 Abel Tasman Tramping Discovery!  \n  \nThis Discovery is an opportunity for Rangers aged 12½ to 18\, as at 26 April 2022\, to tramp and explore the stunning golden beaches and native forest along the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. This is one of New Zealand’s Great Walks situated at the top of the South Island about one hour from Nelson. A reasonable level of fitness is needed. The Discovery will start and finish in Nelson.  \n  \nDate: 22 April 2022 – 27 April 2022  \nTotal Cost: $500 - there is a $150 deposit that is payable within seven days of you being accepted onto the event and the remaining $350 is payable by 22/02/2022.  \nApplication: All eligible girls have been invited through OGM\, upon acceptance of this invite you will be automatically moved to the waitlist and contacted for a leader recommendation. There are strictly 16 places for this event and acceptance isn’t guaranteed so please do not look at booking any travel until your place is confirmed. If you haven’t received the OGM invite please email events@ggnz.org.nz \n  \nWe are running two of these events: 22-27 April\, and 23-28 April. You will receive an invite to both events but will only be eligible to attend one. If you wish to be on the waitlist for both\, please accept both invites and note this during registration.
