DESCRIPTION:2021 – A SPACE ODYSSEY\n8.30am September 4 – 3pm September 5\, 2021 | Cracroft Guiding Centre\, 151 Cashmere Road\, Christchurch \n \nCRITERIA: \n\nRangers who have achieved their Peak Award and who are aged 16 years at the time of the retreat are invited to apply for the upcoming Queen’s Guide Retreat.\nParticipants take part in a variety of challenging and fun learning activities to extend their skills and knowledge in relation to team building\, community action\, self-evaluation\, Queen’s Guide Award recognition and joining networks.\n\nHOW TO APPLY: \nThere are a maximum number of places for each Queen’s Guide Retreat. The Programme Adviser will approve who is selected to attend. Once accepted you will be sent an invite through OGM to the event.\nPriority is usually given to the older Rangers and/or Rangers who live closer to the location. We will advise those not selected and place their name on a waiting list. \nFull-time attendance is a requirement. \nCOST: \nThere is a cost of $150 per girl (including GST) to attend the Queen’s Guide Retreat.
