SUMMARY:The Abel Tasman Tramping Discovery
DESCRIPTION:The Abel Tasman Tramping Discovery is an opportunity for Rangers aged 12 ½ and over (but under 18 as of 1 May 2021) to tramp and explore the stunning golden beaches and native forest along the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. This is one of New Zealand’s Great Walks situated at the top of the South Island about one hour from Nelson. A reasonable level of fitness is needed. The Discovery will start and finish in Nelson. \n  \nCost: $500 – You will be invoiced a $150 deposit as soon as you complete your registration on OGM. This must be paid within 7 days to confirm your place on the tramp. The final $350 will need to be paid before 25 February 2021. This includes: \n\nFive nights’ accommodation\nAll meals (from Dinner Monday 26 April through to dinner on Friday 30 April) except breakfasts for which you will bring your own choice\nTransport to and from the start and finish of the track\nTransport between airport/bus depot and Nelson accommodation\nTwo-hour scenic cruise along the coastline from Kaiteriteri to Totaranui\nPack liner\nAdmin fee\n\n  \nDates: Monday 26 April – Saturday 1 May 2021 \nLocation: Nelson \nApplication: All eligible girls will be emailed an application form which will have further details around how to apply. SUMMARY:EcSTatic - Auckland
DESCRIPTION:EcSTatic is a five day camp with a focus on science and technology! The camp will include hands-on experiments\, field trips and activities for the girls designed to ignite their minds and further their interests in these in-demand fields. We have a variety of different activities planned this time\, one of the most exciting being a trip to VR Voom where girls will have the chance to do some virtual reality coding and then experience virtual reality in person. In addition to action-packed itineraries\, girls will also have the chance to meet new friends\, develop their social and leadership skills and create memories to last a lifetime. \nFee: $495 total which consists of a non-refundable $150 deposit due within 7 days of event acceptance and the remaining $345 is due by 26 March 2021 \nLocation: Taitamariki Guide Hall\, 8 Auburn Drive\, Takapuna\, Auckland \nDate and times: 26 – 30 April 2021 (drop off at 1pm on April 26 and pickup at 11am on April 30) \n  \nInvites will go out through OGM. You will need to ensure you arrange to drop-off and pick-up your child yourself as this isn’t something that GirlGuiding NZ organise as a part of this event. If your child is flying in from out of Auckland we can arrange a leader to do airport transfers. Please do not book any flights without contacting the events team at National Office as we will need to ensure arrival and departure times are inline with other girls flying in to ensure leaders only need to make one trip \n  \n– What does the fee cover? This fee covers all associated activity costs\, accommodation\, any travel to activities and all meals \n
